Dr. Joy Campbell. Senior Director of Global Petfood Technical Services in APC

Joy Campbell received a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Campbell has worked in research and development at APC for more than 20 years. She has focused on the role functional animal proteins play in the health of domestic animals. Her work documents the significant change in animal health in response to administration of functional proteins in the dietHer work has led to the development of several innovative products to several industries, including the swine, poultry, ruminant, aquaculture and pet food industries.    

Dr. Nathan Fastinger. President at Dr. Fast Pet Food Consulting LLC.

Nathan Fastinger earned his Ph.D. in non-ruminant animal nutrition at The Ohio State University and Post-Doctoral research position focusing on Dog and Cat Nutrition at the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign. He has more than 16 years of working experience in several pet food manufacturers in North America, Europe and Asia. Currently he has his own Consulting company (Dr Fast Pet Food Consulting LLC) in the USA which provides nutritional services that cover all aspects of pet foods and treats including product development, ingredient development, regulatory compliance, sourcing, and pet food production.
