APC attended the ESVCN Congress 2026, organized by the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN) and held in Naples, Italy, from September 16–18, 2026.
The annual ESVCN Congress provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and research in veterinary and comparative nutrition, bringing together professionals with an interest in these fields.
As part of our commitment to science and innovation, APC participated in the event to engage with the veterinary and animal nutrition community and follow the latest developments in nutrition research and animal health.
During the congress, APC presented three research posters exploring practical applications of functional proteins in pet food formulation, including increasing fresh meat inclusion in extruded kibble while maintaining product quality, palatability and digestibility; the impact of spray dried plasma products on texture and palatability in baked biscuits; and the use of spray dried red blood cells to influence color and product characteristics in wet and dry pet food.
